Executive Leadership for Global Majority Educators

The Rise Leaders Rise Summit is a pioneering leadership gathering created for Black and Asian senior and executive leaders across the education sector.

Hosted by Fig Tree International at Homerton College, University of Cambridge, the Summit brings together an intentionally curated group of leaders who are shaping the future of education through influence, innovation and strategic leadership.

This is not simply another education conference. It is a leadership movement.

At a time when education continues to wrestle with questions of representation, inclusion and leadership succession, the Rise Leaders Rise Summit provides a unique space for leaders to connect, learn, challenge thinking and build the relationships that will help shape the next generation of executive leadership in the UK.

Opening with a keynote from Lord Simon Woolley, and featuring an exceptional line-up of nationally recognised speakers, workshop facilitators and executive leaders, the Summit focuses on the realities of leadership beyond the classroom and beyond the school gates.

Through keynote presentations, practical workshops, expert panels and purposeful networking, delegates will explore topics including:

Executive leadership and system influence

Strategic networks, sponsorship and advocacy

Confidence, impostorism and executive presence

Leadership identity and personal growth

Governance, policy and decision-making

Building influence beyond your organisation

The lessons leaders wish they had known before stepping into executive roles

The Summit is intentionally limited in size to ensure meaningful dialogue, authentic connections and high-quality professional learning. Attendees include Assistant Principals, Deputy Heads, Headteachers, Executive Leaders, CEOs and system influencers from across the education landscape.

Never before in the UK has there been a gathering of this kind focused so intentionally on diverse executive leadership within education.

The Rise Leaders Rise Summit exists because leadership matters. Representation matters. Influence matters.

Most importantly, the future of education depends upon ensuring that talented leaders are not only prepared to lead organisations, but are empowered to shape systems.

We are building something powerful.

We are curating something rare.

We are creating a space where leaders rise together.

Rise Leaders Rise.
