About This Event

Attendees will meet at the Devonshire Arms in Cambridge on 13 October 2026 at 18:30 for a quiet writing session. Participants may also choose to draw or read, with the group typically lingering to chat afterwards.

We'll meet at the Devonshire Arms on Devonshire Road St (CB1 2BH, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire) at 6:30pm for a chilled evening and write quietly for an hour or so. Though, you can choose to draw or read or whatever you fancy! Thereafter we usually linger and chat. Prompts can be supplied if you like, but otherwise feel free to work on anything: novel, poems, reports, short stories, journalling, whatever it might be! There is no table booking, so look for ag roup of people with notebooks and laptops. Be sure to purchase a beverage or some food from the pub; and there are not many outlets so if you do not write with paper, charge your device beforehand!
