For Wild About Whitstable 2026, Bird Wise are leading a guided beginners birdwatching walk along the coast at Seasalter
This guided walk is suitable for all ages and for total beginners to birdwatching. The friendly Bird Wise team will be on hand to help you identify birds we see along our coastline during autumn and winter, hopefully including our wonderful Brent Geese.
This out and back walk will start from Seasalter Sailing Club and head along the sea wall towards the South Swale Nature Reserve. We will be out for approximately 2 hours with stops to observe the birds we see and hear along the way.
Well behaved dogs are welcome but they must be kept on a lead to avoid disturbance.
There are toilets located on Faversham Road, about 5 minutes from the start point. Parking on Faversham Road is free during the winter months.
It is free to attend our walks but spaces are very limited so please book early to avoid disappointment.
