The Kent Solidarity Network holds a consultation at KRAN in Canterbury on 29 September at 14:30. This meeting follows the success of the regional conference to plan the next steps for building a community network and is free to attend.
Let's build a Kent community network!
Following the success of the Kent Solidarity Regional Conference, attendees asked for meetings to plan the next steps for building better connections and sharing resources with those fighting for social justice in our county.
Consultations will be run in four areas at the end of September to iron out what a Kent Solidarity Network* (*working title) will look like. What resources are needed? Who has capacity to contribute? What skills do you have to share?
Look out for a survey which will be sent out in early September. Your responses will inform the discussion points of the upcoming meetings. In each group, we will lay out the agenda and leave discussion open for your ideas. Our goal is to set out the next practical steps of building a network that meets the needs and goals of its members, fostering an empowered community!
We have invited anyone who attended the regional conference, but feel free to forward details to anyone who would be interested. The more the merrier!
