Join us for our first meeting opening dialogue and discussing key questions surrounding anti-racism and decolonisation

Hello all,

Welcome to our first LAWPL Anti-Racist Book Club Meeting! We are excited to see you all to discuss 'Black Skin, White Masks' by Franz Fanon. Copies are available via Library Search or relatively cheaply online if you would like your own physical copy.

We will be meeting in room 1.77 in the Main Building, which is limited to a capacity of 60 on a first-come, first-served basis (depending on numbers, we may be expanding the capacity in the future).

Please make sure you read as much of the text as possible before the event, but the main thing is to come with an open mind and ready to discuss your thoughts and feelings on these issues - we really want to open up an interesting dialogue on some important topics. A few preliminary discussion questions will be provided on the day, but the rest is up to you!

Free to attend, but please book your place!

Looking forward to seeing you all there!

Thank you to the LAWPL Conflict, Security and Societies Research Nexus for sponsoring and supporting this event and upcoming bookclub meetings.
