Calling all young superheroes! Join us at Boulders this October (7-17s). No experience needed, fancy dress welcome. In aid of Tŷ Hafan.

Every superhero has an origin story. This October, Boulders is running a day of superhero-themed climbing for kids aged 7 to 17, and every session helps raise money for Tŷ Hafan.

What to expect

Kids will train like a superhero for a 60-minute session, using our climbing walls to build strength, balance and confidence, the same way any hero-in-training would. No climbing experience needed. Our instructors will be with your child every step of the way. A real superhero will be dropping in to cheer the kids on and join in the fun.

Fancy dress is welcome and encouraged. If your child has a favourite superhero costume, this is the day to bring it out. Just make sure it's easy to move and climb in (see what to wear below).

Each 60-minute session includes a warm up, a chance to try different routes and challenges set by our team, time with our visiting superhero and a goody bag.

This is a charity event and 50% off proceeds go to Tŷ Hafan.

Before You Arrive

If this is your child's first time at Boulders, you'll need to complete an Acknowledgment of Risk (AOR) form on their behalf before attending. You can do this online to save time when you arrive.

What to Wear

Please make sure your child wears comfortable sports clothing they can move around in. We recommend joggers, leggings, t-shirts or shorts. Avoid jeans, skirts, dresses or anything restrictive. Please remove any jewellery before climbing. If your child is dressing up, capes and masks are fine, but the costume underneath should still let them move freely.

When to Arrive

Please arrive around 15 minutes before the session starts. This gives you time to check in and for your child to collect their equipment and get ready without rushing.

What We Provide

All climbing equipment is provided, including climbing shoes and harnesses where applicable.

On the Day

Check in at reception when you arrive. Our team will get your child sorted and answer any questions you have.
