Join Design Commission for Wales for an interactive half-day workshop exploring how clients can create the conditions for good design in affordable housing. Through presentations, practical exercises, discussion and a Cardiff Bay site visit, participants will explore placemaking, project briefs, design principles and procurement to support better housing outcomes.

The workshop draws on the Placemaking Wales Charter, our Site and Context Analysis Guide and Introduction to Brief Writing Guide, alongside our experience from Design Review and supporting affordable housing projects.
