Practice your Welsh in a casual setting while exploring a new route

We're Welsh learners who love coffee, a good chat and exploring the outdoors – and we’d love for you to join us.

We’ll meet at the Cenotaph opposite the Cross Keys Inn in Dinas Powys at 10.30am (what 3 words code oval/verse/flats) before heading out together for a scenic 5 mile circular route taking in forests, field and rivers. What level is it for? On our walks we like to give everyone a sticker to inidcate their level and help to take away the pressure. If you're on a mynediad/ entry course (or similar) or above, great. We're all learning together. We also hand out prompt sheets to avoid that 'tounge tied' feeling at the start.

The route is dog-friendly, so feel free to bring your tail mate too. We’ll finish back at the coffee shop or a local pub.

Please note this route is muddy and uneven in places- not suitable for buggies.

We don't mind a couple of showers but if the Welsh weather gets the better of us we may need to cancel- please keep an eye on your emails the day before if you're unsure.
