International dance & sound collaboration, work-in-progress sharing and networking in Cardiff with artists from Wales, Hungary & London.

Exchange as Method: Work-in-Progress Sharing & Networking

Doors open: 6:15pm | Sharing starts: 6:30pm

Join Wales-based dance artist Dorka Zátonyi, Hungary-based dancer and choreographer Rita Góbi, and London-based composer and audiovisual artist Madil Hardis for a first sharing from their international collaboration, supported by the Four Nations International Fund, with additional support from Ardour Academy and the University of South Wales..

Following a four-day research residency in South Wales, the artists will share a short movement- and sound-based work developed through their collaborative process. The sharing will be followed by a short facilitated discussion exploring their practices, collaboration and creative methods, before the project continues with a second research phase in Hungary.

Hosted at Ardour Academy in the heart of Cardiff, the event will also offer time to meet the artists, ask questions and connect with other attendees. Refreshments will be provided afterwards, with time for informal networking and conversation.
