A beginner-friendly drawing workshop focusing on expressive mark-making to combat stiff lines and perfectionism.

In this workshop, we will be taking our love for fashion and turning that into art with experimental mark-making and fun drawing exercises that will help you let go of perfectionism and get creative.

Designed for all levels of drawing ability. If you've wanted to improve the flow and movement of your drawing, or perfectionism stops you from drawing at all, this workshop hopes to not only provide a relaxed space for experimentation, but also techniques to get you moving the next time you feel like drawing.

We will start the session with fun drawing challenges, to get everyone warmed up. We will then progress to some guided drawing, followed by time to experiment and draw using reference images. References of recent runway looks will be provided, but feel free to bring any references of your own. E.g. A photo of your favourite celebrity look, or an outfit of your own that makes you feel confident!

Hudo Lounge has a wide variety of food and drink available to purchase at the venue. There is time dedicated to the beginning of the event to place any orders, but as this is a guided workshop, I would recommend keeping to drinks and smaller snacks to get the most out of the event. Feel free to visit early if you'd like to order something larger.
