Ask ChatGPT about insurance and you'll get a confident answer. It might be right. It might be out of date. It might be based on the US market. More and more people now research insurance with AI before they speak to anyone. Many then arrive at a broker or comparison site with the wrong idea already fixed in their head. We think we can do better. Join us for a one-day hackathon at NatWest Accelerator Cardiff and help us prove it. **The challenge** How might we help consumers get accurate, useful and trustworthy insurance information when they use LLMs? This challenge comes out of the Future Finance Research Sprint. The sprint found three problems: * The quality of answers depends on how people prompt the LLM. * LLMs often lack accurate, current, UK-specific insurance information. * Consumers reach insurers and comparison sites with assumptions already shaped by AI. You choose which part to tackle. You might help people ask better questions or check the answers they get. You might help them spot gaps in what they know. You might improve the handover to a broker, insurer or comparison site. There are a few ground rules. Work with the AI tools people already use. Protect consumer privacy.
