About This Event

Artist Talk + Q&A with Yas Crawford Join us for an informal conversation with visual artist Yas Crawford HonFRPS. Working across photography, art, science, geology and biology, Yas describes her practice as occupying the “Grey Space” between disciplines – a place for curiosity, uncertainty, experimentation and creative dialogue. We’ll chat with Yas about her background, inspirations and creative journey, as well as what it means to work across different disciplines and collaborate with others. Together, we’ll explore questions such as: What happens when we work beyond the boundaries of our own disciplines? How do collaborations begin, and what can we learn from each other and our different ways of working? This event is supported by the Sharing Together project – bringing creatives together to exchange knowledge, make connections and learn from one another.
