North Wales has never been short of excellence. It is time we celebrated it properly. Join us at Cardiff City Stadium on Thursday, 29 October 2026, for the official launch of the inaugural North Wales Awards 2026–27—a new regional platform created to recognise the businesses, entrepreneurs, professionals and women leaders making North Wales impossible to ignore. From ambitious start-ups and established family businesses to innovative entrepreneurs, inspiring leaders and organisations creating meaningful community impact, the North Wales Awards will give the people behind the region’s success the recognition they deserve. This is more than the launch of another awards programme. It is the beginning of a new North Wales business tradition. The official launch will introduce the vision, themes and nomination process behind the North Wales Awards. Entries are completely free, and businesses may enter more than one relevant category. Businesses may nominate themselves, while customers, colleagues, suppliers and members of the public may also nominate an organisation or individual they believe deserves recognition. Eligible nominations will be assessed against clearly defined category criteria by an independent panel of business leaders, industry specialists and academic or sector experts. The North Wales Awards are designed to recognise genuine achievement—not popularity, paid placement or the size of an organisation’s marketing budget. The businesses, leaders, sponsors and supporters who take part this year will become part of the founding story of a celebration created specifically for North Wales.
