Join us for the 100 Mile Challenge as part of our inaugrual Welsh Festival Of Running. Runners will have 34 hours to complete 100 miles around the Dare Valley Country Park, so if you have ever wanted to try this distance and are worried about cut off times, this should be possible for runners and walkers.

The course is 5 miles and you will complete 20 laps to be a finisher, but you can still finish by dropping down to the timed 34 hour event. This means you will get a finish distance and time for your completed distance. If you drop down the distance, you will get the event medal but the 100 Mile Finisher buckle is only available for those who complete the distance!

The laps mean you can do this event with no navigational experience, but with the knowledge that you are never far away from race HQ, your kit and also any support. We will have a very comprehensive aid table, including Pizza for those continuing into the evening.

Other facilities include a room where you can stop and rest, with hot and cold refreshments for those undertaking this incredible challenge. We want you to complete the distance and we will support you and do everything we can to help you finish.

Dare Valley Accomodation & Campsite can also be booked separately by runners - but this is strictly based on availability. There is also accomodation in Aberdare and surrounding towns and villages.
