Want to know more about wildlife gardening? this is for you!
Winter is one of the best months to think about our gardens. We may be hibernating inside from the cold but many creatures will be using our outdoor spaces to do similar.
In this workshop we will discuss how we can support wildlife over the harsher months and prepare for the coming spring!
It’s a good time of year to do maintenance in our outdoor spaces and helps us to spend some much-needed time outdoors during the worse weather.
In this session you will:
Craft a bird box to take home!
Discuss your outdoor spaces with likeminded others (take a photo of your to help!)
Meet other passionate wildlife gardeners and share tips and tricks for wildlife friendly gardening in smaller spaces
Plan how to support habitat in your garden
Learn about native birds and nesting behaviours of other vertebrates (like hedghogs!)
Chat about tree and shrub management
Gaeaf yw un o'r misoedd gorau i feddwl am ein gerddi. Efallai ein bod ni’n gaeafgysgu y tu mewn o'r oerfel, ond bydd llawer o greaduriaid yn defnyddio ein mannau awyr agored i wneud yr un peth.
Yn y gweithdy hwn byddwn yn trafod sut y gallwn gefnogi bywyd gwyllt dros fisoedd garwach y gaeaf a pharatoi ar gyfer y gwanwyn!
Mae'n amser da o'r flwyddyn i wneud gwaith cynnal a chadw yn ein mannau awyr agored ac yn ein helpu i dreulio ychydig o amser mawr ei angen yn yr awyr agored yn ystod y tywydd garwaf.
Yn y sesiwn hon byddwch yn:
· Crefftio bocs adar i fynd adref!
· Dewch â llun o'ch gofod awyr agored i drafod gydag eraill!
· Cwrdd â garddwyr bywyd gwyllt angerddol eraill a rhannu awgrymiadau a chyngor ar gyfer garddio sy'n dda i fywyd gwyllt mewn mannau llai
· Cynllunio sut i gefnogi cynefin yn eich gardd
· Dysgu am adar brodorol ac ymddygiadau nythu ymwelwyr eraill â'r ardd (fel draenogod!)
· Sgwrsio am reoli coed a llwyni
