An inclusive workforce workshop is scheduled for 21 October 2026 at 09:00 in the Cumbria Room at Carlisle United Football Club. The free session aims to help employers attract diverse talent and improve employee wellbeing.

Creating inclusive workplaces helps employers attract diverse talent, improve employee wellbeing and build stronger, more productive teams.

Join us for this FREE workshop, delivered by Sally Pattison, Business Development, Training and Quality Assurance Manager at Right2Work, who will provide employers with practical knowledge and tools to better understand neurodiversity and disability in the workplace.

Through interactive activities, lived experience insights and real-world examples, participants will gain confidence in creating environments where people can thrive.

Session Overview Understanding Neurodiversity

This session will explore the fundamentals of neurodiversity, challenge common misconceptions and highlight the strengths that neurodivergent individuals can bring to the workplace. Through case studies, videos and discussion, participants will gain a deeper understanding of workplace experiences and barriers.

Building Blocks for an Inclusive Workplace

Discover practical steps that organisations can take to create an inclusive culture where all employees feel valued, supported and able to perform at their best.

Reasonable Adjustments in Practice

Learn about different types of workplace adjustments, including job carving, job customisation and Workplace Consideration Passports. The session will include practical examples and activities to help employers understand how adjustments can support business needs while enabling employees to succeed.
