Luke Una stands as one of the UK's most expressive and soulful musical curators, a DJ and storyteller whose four decades in underground culture have shaped dancefloors, airwaves, and entire communities. From his formative years in Sheffield to becoming a central figure in Manchester's creative landscape, Luke has built a career on emotional connection, deep musical knowledge, and an unfiltered passion for late-night discovery. Rising to prominence through the legendary Electric Chair and Homoelectric nights, founder of Electric Elephant (one of the original Croatian festivals) and Homobloc festival (Manchester's queer party for 10,000 souls) and his long-running partnership as one half of The Unabombers. Luke has helped define an eclectic, inclusive, genre-defying approach to club culture, cultivating spaces rooted in love and liberation. In recent years, Luke's É Soul Cultura project has become a label, an event series, and a compilation brand dedicated to spiritual jazz, Brazilian rhythms, cosmic psychedelic dance, machine soul, bass buggin futurism, astral jazz dance, deep house, black heart disco, hi tek soul outer space techno, and everything in between.

His acclaimed compilations have introduced a new generation to rare, emotional, cross-cultural gems, earning him a reputation as one of the most trusted selectors in contemporary music. His É Soul Cultura edits have found a place with tastemakers and listeners alike. In 2026, the world will hear original music from Luke as he continues to be busy in the studio.

A regular at festivals and venues including Glastonbury, We Out Here, Fabric, KOKO, Klymax, Houghton, Love International, Southport Soul Weekender, The Warehouse Project and Heidegluehen, and stages across Europe including Suncebeat and beyond, Luke continues to bring his expansive musical universe to devoted audiences worldwide.

In the last 12 months Luke has had a sold-out residency run at Night Tales in London, Radio 1's Essential Mix (lauded as one of the best in recent memory), a return to live radio via Gilles Peterson's Worldwide FM and an impeccably curated selection of 6 - 8 hour sets in some of the most in-demand spaces that include Giant Steps, OM and The Bridge in Tokyo.

The É Soul Cultura festival stage takeovers became must-attend destinations as word spread about how joyous and unifying the takeovers are for both the DJs and the dancers.
