Chill out and float away to soothing sounds in a unique poolside vibe you won’t forget.

Join us on Friday 19th June for a magical Outdoor Floating Sound Bath at Lazonby Outdoor Swimming Pool, a heated outdoor pool on the banks of the River Eden, just outside Lazonby village near Penrith.

You’ll float gently on the water while being immersed in calming sound frequencies from instruments such as crystal bowls, chimes, and other soothing sounds designed to help your body soften, your mind quieten, and your nervous system let go.

This is a peaceful, one-of-a-kind experience for anyone craving rest, reset, and a little bit of magic.

What to expect

A calm arrival and time to settle into the space

You’ll be supported onto a floating setup in the heated outdoor pool (lifeguard present, no swimming required once settled)

A 45-50 minute immersive floating sound bath using crystal bowls, gongs, chimes and other live instruments

Open-air surroundings: fresh air, evening light, and the natural stillness of being outdoors

A gentle return so you leave feeling calm, clear and restored

Arrive from 6:20pm to get settled.

The floating sound bath will begin at 6:30pm and run until 8:00pm.

You’ll be guided into a deeply relaxing experience while floating on the heated outdoor pool, surrounded by nature, fresh air, and the evening sky.

No swimming or sound bath experience is needed.

The pool is located in the Eden Valley, a short drive from Penrith, Carlisle and the Lake District, and around a 5-minute walk from Lazonby & Kirkoswald train station.

📍 Location:

Lazonby Outdoor Swimming Pool - Lazonby Pool and campsite is a short drive from junction 41 of the M6. When leaving the motorway follow signs for the A6, and at the next roundabout take the 2nd exit, signposted A6 Carlisle/ Plumpton. When you reach Plumpton, turn right onto the B6413 signposted to Lazonby. Drive through Lazonby and on the outskirts of the village the Pool is on the right and side. There is a small car park next to the pool and additional parking is available either on the road or in the field behind the pool.
