Leadership Pathway Four - Leading For Impact
This pathway is for growing and developing leaders including school, central teams and non- teaching, who are continuing to develop their leadership journey. The four session workshops across the year will continue to develop our leaders to understand their impact on teams and leadership journeys. They will develop the skills to understand the impact of leaders who ‘rescue’ rather than leaders who allow others to ‘flourish’, how to step back and when to step forward. These sessions will be face to face and in the final session delegates will have to present an impact presentation to the cohort in person.
Suitable for: Those with significant leadership responsbility
Outcome: Understanding the impact of your leadership on your team
You are expected to attend all sessions.

Feedback from Candice who attended Pathway 4 last year:
"The greatest impact came from reflecting on the different leadership strategies available to me, particularly coaching, mentoring, delegation, empowerment and accountability. It helped me recognise that, in a new school and Trust, effective leadership is not about using one fixed approach, but about understanding what people need from me in order to do their jobs well.
The sessions also helped me think carefully about the pace of change and the importance of bringing people with me. This has supported me in leading change in a way that is purposeful, sustainable and focused on impact."
"The PFT Leadership Pathways have given me greater understanding and clarity around my role, various leadership roles and most importantly my own leadership. Before undertaking the PFT Leadership Pathways, I didn't see myself as a leader. Taking part in all three has supported me to recognise how I am an inspirational leader, and has allowed me to develop my leadership thoughtfully and reflectively."
