About This Event

The Chelmsford Cathedral Knightsbridge Library Tours will be held at Chelmsford Cathedral in Chelmsford on September 12, 2026. The event is a rare opportunity to visit the hidden gem, The Knightbridge Library, with free admission.

We will be offering a rare opportunity to visit our hidden gem, The Knightbridge Library

During the day there will be an opportunity to see the hidden gem in the Cathedral, our Knightbridge Library. Currently rarely opened to the public, the library is home to numerous historic books. The open day will offer visitors the opportunity to explore the incredible artefacts kept safe inside it. Please note: Access to the library is via a steep stone spiral staircase and may not be suitable for all visitor. This is a pre-bookable 20 minute tour, book via www.chelmsfordhod.co.uk.
