Welcome to New to Church Schools

This is a one-day course is for anyone new to working in a church school. Delegates may include anyone from Early Career Teachers to Deputy Headteachers. Separate course for Headteachers and Head of Schools.

Whether you are an Early Career Teacher, experienced practitioner, or school leader, this session will help you understand the distinctive nature of Church school life. You will explore key expectations, including Christian vision and values, Church of England guidance, and SIAMS, alongside the practical realities of working in this unique context. The course will build your confidence, deepen your understanding and equip you to contribute meaningfully to a flourishing Church school.
