Join us for a led walk along the Honeybourne Line looking at the plant life along the line, followed by a creative workshop at the Everyman Education Centre on Grove Street

Meet in the Winston Churchill Memorial Garden, near the Market Street entrance for a 1 pm start.

Jo from Haven 4 Wildlife will lead us on a walk along the Honeybourne Line identifying and exploring the flowers and plants along the Line. We will collect some specimens then take them to the Everyman Education Centre on Grove Street at 2:15 pm.

With the support of Neith Art and Sculpture, we'll use the collected material to create hapa zome* and clay imprints. We will then have a 'flora record' of the Honeybourne Line which will be incorporated into engravings on the finished art work.

Neith Art and Sculpture have been commissioned by Cheltenham Borough Council to create a series of public art works along the Honeybourne Line. The finished art works will be installed early 2027.

*hapa zome is a a Japanese art form which transfers natural plant pigments onto paper or cloth by pounding them with a hammer.
