Nature Guardians - River Rangers

Due to popularity - this is a repeat of July's River Rangers session. Please do not book if you have/had tickets for 23rd July. There will also be a repeated session at 2pm. If, nearer the time, tickets are still available then repeat visitors are welcome.

Discover wildlife in and around the River Swilgate by joining us for a walk along the river; looking out for dragonflies and damselflies, identifying tree species and listening for birds. We'll consider what impacts our river and how we can look after it, before discovering the wildlife that lives under water through river dipping activities. Water levels allowing, we'll get in the river so wellies are recommended or trainers / closed toed shoes that you are happy to get wet. You can also dip from the bank if preferred.

Meet at the Tewkesbury Nature Reserve car park, off the A38 opposite Snowdonia Road on the Wheatpieces estate.

You do not need to book a ticket for children aged 0-3 attending with an older sibling, although close supervision is necessary. Activities aimed at ages 4+. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
