About This Event

Cheltenham Animal Shelter will host a tour on 12 August 2026 at 14:00 to mark its centenary. The event highlights the shelter’s history of rescuing and rehoming pets.

Cheltenham Animal Shelter Tour

Cheltenham Animal Shelter has been rescuing and rehoming pets for 100 years, thanks to the support of the local community.

Although vulnerable animals are at the heart of everything we do, we are more than 'just' an animal shelter and have a wide range of education programs, community outreach and fundraising events for everyone to enjoy and to help spread our passion for responsible pet ownership throughout Gloucestershire.

Our Shelter tours are designed to share what we do and, of course, let you see some of our special pets too!

Tours will last 30-45minutes. Tickets are free of charge but you can make a donation if you wish.
