WINTER WELLNESS RETREAT
REST & RECOVERY
Sunday 13 December 2026 | 11:00am–1:00pm
A two-hour seasonal wellness experience to slow down, move mindfully and reconnect with yourself.
As the days get shorter and winter settles in, we're inviting you to take a little time out of your usual routine and enjoy a morning dedicated to your wellbeing.
Join us for an intimate winter retreat bringing together mobility, Pilates, a traditional tea-inspired ritual, journaling and gentle yoga.
Led by three practitioners, this experience has been thoughtfully created to give you space to move, reflect, unwind and enjoy a moment for yourself.
Whether you're familiar with these practices or simply curious to try something new, you're warmly welcome.
YOUR WINTER EXPERIENCE
11:00–11:30 | Mobility & Warm-Up
Led by Leyla Özkan (GLÖW)
We'll begin with gentle, intentional movement to warm the body, explore mobility and create space to reconnect with how we're feeling.
Meet your instructor
I'm so excited to be creating this seasonal retreat series with you. This is the first of many experiences we'll be bringing together throughout the year, each inspired by the changing seasons and the different ways we can support ourselves through them. We're beginning with winter, a time to slow down, turn inward and embrace rest and recovery.
I'll be drawing on my background in dance and personal training to guide you through gentle movement, creating warmth, mobility and flow throughout the body. My approach is centred around mindful awareness, encouraging you to connect with how your body feels and find freedom and enjoyment in the way you move. - Leyla
11:30–12:00 | Pilates
Led by Erika - Movement with Erika
A Pilates session focusing on mindful movement, controlled strength and body awareness. An opportunity to move with intention and appreciate what your body can do.
Meet your instructor
My teaching style is rooted in the classical Pilates method, with a focus on its key principles and the connection between mind and body. I love how Pilates encourages us to move with intention, build strength and develop a deeper awareness of our bodies. My hope is to create a little space in your day to slow down, switch off and reconnect with yourself. - Erika
12:00–12:30 | Winter Tea Ritual & Reflection
Led by Leyla Özkan
A chance to pause and enjoy a carefully prepared seasonal tea, inspired by the warmth of Turkish tea culture and the intention behind mindful tea preparation.
We'll take time to appreciate the aroma, warmth and flavour of our tea before moving into a gentle winter journaling practice.
Through a series of reflection prompts, you'll be invited to consider what you need more of this season, what you're ready to let go of and how you can create more space for rest in everyday life.
Note from your guide:
I'll also be leading a Japanese-inspired mindful tea ritual, bringing together the intention of Japanese tea preparation with the warmth and hospitality of my Turkish roots. Alongside my nutrition background, I'll guide you through an exploration of winter's comforting scents and flavours, before creating space for journaling and reflection.
Together, we'll take a moment to pause, reconnect and consider what we need as we move into a new season, with a focus on rest, recovery and making space for ourselves in an increasingly busy world. - Leyla
12:30–1:00 | Gentle Yoga
Led by Tash
We'll close the morning with a gentle yoga practice, allowing time to unwind, settle the body and leave feeling grounded and rested.
