About This Event

The literary event 'An Evening with Richard Coles' will take place on 27 November 2026 at The Neston Club in Chester to mark the release of the sixth Canon Clement mystery. Rev Richard Coles is returning to the Wirral for this occasion, which features a price range of £20.21 to £31.05. The gathering begins at 19:00 within the Parkgate Clubhouse venue.

A Carol and a Killing

Christmas in Champton, and Daniel and Neil Vanloo are reluctantly conscripted into the Cathedral’s choir. The town is buzzing with preparations, festive merriment prevails, and the concert goes without a hitch.

That is, until a warbling soloist steps forward: and falls to his death before he can finish the note. And Daniel suspects it wasn’t a fall, but a push . . .

Can Daniel, Neil – and Daniel’s delighted mother, Audrey – solve the mystery and catch the Christmas killer?
