CCS in Action: Liverpool Bay CCS Site Visit

Join the ICorr North West Branch for an exclusive site visit hosted by United Infrastructure, the contractor constructing the onshore pipelines for the Liverpool Bay Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) project. Discover how the CO₂ pipeline network is being delivered and gain insight into the engineering, integrity and corrosion challenges associated with carbon transport and storage.

The event includes an introduction to United Infrastructure's role in the Liverpool Bay CCS project, a technical presentation on corrosion threats associated with CO₂ service, and a guided site visit to active construction areas. Attendees will gain practical insight into corrosion management, protective coatings, cathodic protection, integrity assurance, and long-term asset protection.

This is a fantastic opportunity to see CCS infrastructure being delivered in practice, expand your technical knowledge, and network with professionals involved in corrosion, materials, integrity, and the energy transition. Tea and coffee will be provided on arrival.
