SoundBox is delighted to host a concert performance by Kathryn Roberts & Sean Lakeman, long established as one of British folk music’s most rewardingly enduring partnerships.

Kathryn and Sean are an enviable class act of imaginative songwriting and musicianship, which has twice won them the coveted 'Best Duo' title at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards, as well as ‘Best Duo’ at the Folking.com awards and Spiral Earth awards.

They consistently deliver assured, distinctive performances – always bold and innovative, mixing traditional song arrangements with their self-penned material, which reels from the bitter to the sweet, the wry to the sad, the political to the passive.

“Kathryn Roberts & Sean Lakeman sit at the high table of contemporary song-writing and musicianship”. - FATEA magazine
