The Summer of Play event will run on selected dates at Erddig Hall and Garden in Chester. Admission is required. The event features a family-friendly garden trail with various activities.
Step into the carnival and get active on our family-friendly garden trail this summer.
Try your hand at hooking a duck, have a go at skittles, ring toss, pin the tail on the donkey, limber up for the limbo and enjoy storytelling in our mini puppet theatre.
Alongside the carnival trail, there are plenty of creative activities to enjoy:
Doodle Mondays on Mondays, 10am–5pm - a self-led activity where you can add your own creation to our wall of art; carnival mask-making every Wednesday, 11am–3pm and Fine Art Fridays every Friday, 11am-3pm
18 July, 1 August, 15 August, 11am-3pm: Face painting
18 August: Enjoy performances from Punch and Judy. There are three 20 minute performances between 1pm and 3pm.
Activities are free to enjoy but normal admission charges apply, National Trust members enter for free.
