A discussion of utopia, dystopia, alternative intelligences and a philosophical take on what the contents of your mind looks like in 2026.

If you're into Black Mirror, Philip K. Dick, virtual worlds like Ready Player One, E. M. Forster's The Machine Stops or Ted Chiang's Exhalation, or you have an interest in what humanity looks like when it's augmented with computers (as it already is), then this is probably the place for you.

Will Zephyr has written five books, a volume of comics, and a long-running webcomic. He writes near-future sci-fi that brings in the fantastical and the philosophical. The Mind Trilogy is particularly interested in the technological implications for art, culture, and sexuality. Could we have an augmented reality utopia? Could we have fully automated luxury communism? What would it be like if one day everybody decided to walk around looking like a dinosaur?
