With the help of Ellie Fraser from CleanupUk and Jaywick artist Ieda Lima we will create a better beach and explore re-use fashion.

Creative workshop on reusing fashion and upcycling discarded materials in Jaywick.

What is the event?

This event will take you on Jaywick Beach with Ellie Fraser from CleanupUK. A small charity with a big heart, working towards a world where everyone has access to litter-free public spaces, powered by community-led Cleanup Hubs across the UK.

What will we do?

We will visit Jaywick Beach and the seawall to join Ellie exploring litter and waste materials. We will proceed to the Jaywick Community Resource Centre where we will have a go at reusing a piece of discarded fashion onto as new and surprising item.

Connections between people, nature and eachother are at the heart of this 3 hour workshop.

Who is it for?

We want this event to be accessible to anyone who would like to attend.

All levels of experience welcome.
