About This Event

On Friday 28 August 2026, a guided walk entitled Essex Estuaries - Wivenhoe on the Luminous Coast will set off from Wivenhoe Station in Colchester at 1.30pm. Along the way, participants will uncover Wivenhoe’s bohemian and gay heritage, as well as local tales that include a whale and the fictional Essex Serpent. The walk is led by a team of guides and costs £17.50 per person.
