A space for women to rest and reconnect through a gentle journey of Yoga Nidra and Sound Therapy.
🌕 November Full Moon Yoga Nidra & Sound JourneyA deeply restorative evening of Yoga Nidra, sound and stillness beneath November's Full Moon - inviting you to slow down, soften and give yourself permission to rest.
What if you didn't have to hold everything together...
...and could simply allow yourself to soften?
An evening to slow down.
To breathe.
To rest.
To exhale.
To let your shoulders drop and your body become a little heavier.
Because sometimes we become so used to holding ourselves together that we forget what it feels like to soften.
We keep going.
We stay busy.
We hold everything.
We tell ourselves we'll rest when everything else is done.
But perhaps rest doesn't need to be something we earn.
Perhaps softness doesn't need to mean weakness.
Perhaps we can give ourselves permission to stop bracing for a while.
Join ASOA and Inner Flow With Jo beneath November's Full Moon for a deeply restorative evening combining the gentle guidance of Yoga Nidra with the soothing, immersive qualities of sound.
Rather than two separate experiences, we have created one continuous journey - gently guiding you from the busyness of everyday life, into stillness, deep rest and a sense of safety, before slowly bringing you back to the world around you.
You will be guided through a deeply restorative Yoga Nidra practice, often described as "yogic sleep", where your body can soften, your thoughts can settle and your awareness can gently turn inwards.
Throughout the journey, subtle sound will weave around the practice, allowing the gentle resonance of the bowls, chimes and voice to support the spaces between words, deepen relaxation and create room for you to simply receive.
Our November visualisation will invite you into a warm, comforting landscape - somewhere you can slow down, settle in and experience what it feels like to soften without needing to do anything at all.
There is nothing you need to force.
Nothing you need to fix.
Nothing you need to hold onto.
Just an invitation to allow yourself to be supported.
As the Yoga Nidra comes to an end, the sound will gently carry you through the space between deep rest and waking, allowing you to remain in stillness for a little longer before slowly returning to the world around you.
🌕 The November Full Moon
As the days become shorter and the evenings darker, November naturally invites us towards stillness.
The world outside begins to slow down.
Trees release their leaves.
The light changes.
Nature doesn't fight the season.
It responds to it.
And perhaps we can allow ourselves to do the same.
We don't have to be strong all of the time.
We don't have to keep pushing.
We don't have to have all the answers.
Together, we'll hold the sankalpa:
"I am safe to soften."
Not because everything around us is perfect.
Not because we have everything figured out.
But because we can begin to create a feeling of safety within ourselves.
A permission to soften the parts that have been tense.
To rest the parts that have been working hard.
To breathe into the spaces where we have been holding.
And to remember that softness and strength can exist together.
