This October, PPN Colchester welcomes one of the property world's most recognisable names: Sean Fitzpatrick, full-time investor, educator, and co-host of the Progressive Property YouTube channel and podcast alongside Kevin McDonnell.

Sean's story is the kind that changes how you think about what's possible. He grew up on a council estate in Northern Ireland, trained as a school teacher — and within 18 months of discovering Progressive Property, had used creative deal-making to turn his own home into a high-performing asset and left teaching for good. Today he holds a seven-figure portfolio built on off-market sourcing, creative finance and smart deal structuring, and has mentored dozens of investors on stages across the UK.

His property story started as a teenager, when his mother told him she'd had the family home valued — bought for £1,200, now worth £22,000 — and thought it must be a mistake. That moment stuck with him. Early on he made costly mistakes (negotiating himself into paying full asking price more than once), but after discovering proper property education in 2008, he turned it around. Using JV agreements, he's since bought eight properties without putting in a penny of his own money — and he'll be sharing exactly how.
