Cork Printmakers in Blackpool is set to host an Alternative Lithography Weekend Course on Saturday 25 July 2026, commencing at 10am. This two-day workshop offers an introduction to non-traditional lithographic methods, moving well beyond conventional plate-based processes. Led by a team of experienced printmakers, the course explores techniques including stone lithography and various transfer methods, making it ideally suited to artists who already possess some prior print experience. All necessary materials are covered within the £300 fee, and attendees will have the opportunity to produce their own prints to take home. Throughout the weekend, participants will have full access to the venue’s well-equipped studio, complete with presses and specialist tools. This immersive programme provides a practical and creative exploration of alternative printmaking approaches, set within a supportive and professional environment.
