Thinking about using partners to accelerate sales and international growth?
Partnering can create enormous opportunities for B2B tech and SaaS companies.
But seemingly sensible decisions made at the beginning can create problems that only become visible months later.
In his new book, The Traps Killing Your Partnering Success for Global Sales, Donagh draws on decades of experience in technology sales and partnering to expose the assumptions and mistakes that repeatedly undermine partner strategies.
This isn't a generic how-to guide for building a partner programme.
This book is a reality check.

About The Author:
Donagh Kiernan is the founder and CEO of Tenego Partnering, a Cork Ireland based firm that helps technology companies build effective sales partner programs and global channels.
He began programming in his early teens and founded his first company, Vistech Software, in 1994, which became one of Ireland’s rising tech stars and featured in the Deloitte Technology FAST 50 for three consecutive years from 2000 to 2002. In 2008, he launched Tenego Partnering to focus specifically on driving sales growth through partners and channels for B2B software and SaaS businesses.
Over the past three decades, Donagh has worked hands-on with hundreds of tech leaders—from startups to globally established vendors—helping them design, recruit, and scale partner programs across international markets. His methodologies are grounded in real-world partner fit, partner proposition, and partner enablement, and are designed to eliminate the “wasted miles” that kill momentum in global sales.
Donagh is active in tech industry development in Ireland with Tech Industry Alliance, Irish Software CEOs, The Boole Angel Investment Syndicate and The National Software Centre Campus, and others through the years. He has also acted a business mentor with Enterprise Ireland (state support organisation), working with startup and growing tech companies, and delivers sales and partnering workshops to startup programmes and events.
Outside of work, Donagh is a long-time youth soccer coach with College Corinthians AFC and an endurance cyclist who rides, among others, the annual 600km Tour de Munster in support of Down Syndrome charities. He draws heavily on these experiences in the book, using sporting and cycling analogies to make complex partnering challenges accessible and practical for ambitious tech CEOs, founders, sales leaders, and partnering leaders who want to scale internationally without relying on hopeful strategies.
