Bus Eireann Bus Driving Training Programme for New Entrants:

If you don’t have a full D Licence, you can still apply to Bus Eireann.

Their best-in-class training programme is designed to assist you to pass the D licence driving test and when you pass, to prepare you for what’s ahead, and will give you the confidence you need to be a successful Bus Éireann driver.

What are the minimum entry level requirements to join Bus Eireann?

You will need a valid Irish B (Car) driving licence for a minimum of 2 years with no endorsements.

Bus Eireann Recruitment Process: Applicants should have excellent interpersonal skills and fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Training: Initial training is provided as well as on-going training and development (including periodic CPC).

You are invited to attend if you wish to learn more about the Bus Éireann Training Programme for New Entrants.

We encourage anyone who has a D Licence (Bus) Learner Permit to book to meet the team on the day.
