Anglo Irish Productions is delighted to celebrate the fifth anniversary of Christmas in Kinsale, returning once again to the beautiful St. Multose Church for another special festive season.

For the past five years, this show has brought together audiences from near and far to enjoy an evening of Irish music, dance and Christmas tradition in one of Kinsale's most historic settings. This year's anniversary performance will feature all of the favourites audiences have come to love, including talented vocalists, award-winning Irish dancers and a fully live band, along with a few special guest performers to help mark the occasion.

Blending traditional Irish songs, lively music and captivating dance, Christmas in Kinsale is a celebration of the season, Irish culture and the joy of coming together at Christmas.

Whether you're joining us for the first time or returning as part of your own Christmas tradition, we look forward to welcoming you for an evening filled with music, warmth and festive spirit as we celebrate five wonderful years of Christmas in Kinsale.

We’re absolutely delighted to announce our first guest singer for this year’s Christmas in Kinsale — the wonderful Cathy Jordan! Born in Roscommon, Cathy has been the unmistakable voice and frontwoman of the internationally acclaimed traditional Irish group Dervish for nearly 30 years, performing across the world and sharing Ireland’s music and songs with audiences everywhere. A hugely respected singer and champion of Irish traditional music, Cathy brings a voice and presence that are truly special. We’re thrilled to welcome her to Kinsale, where she’ll bring her remarkable talent and love of Irish song to our Christmas celebrations. We know you’re going to love having her with us!

It may come as no surprise that Barry Tierney will once again be joining us for Christmas in Kinsale. As co-creater, Barry has been such an important part of the Christmas in Kinsale story over the years. Once again, he’ll also be taking to the stage to share his wonderful voice, performing some of your all-time favourites and Christmas classics.

And, of course, what would Christmas in Kinsale be without the sound of traditional Irish music and the unmistakable rhythm of Irish dance? We’re delighted to welcome back our wonderful trad band and talented group of Irish dancers for another year. Their energy, spirit and infectious love of the music bring a very special magic to the show, as the stage comes alive with reels, jigs and some of Ireland’s most beloved traditional tunes. It simply wouldn’t be Christmas in Kinsale without them!
