About This Event

The Cushion Concerts at the Library will take place on 19 September 2026 at the Mayfield Branch Library in Cork. The event is a music concert for children aged 6-24 months, featuring musicians from the Irish Baroque Orchestra.

Join musicians from the Irish Baroque Orchestra for a Cushion Concert adventure in Mayfield Library!

In this Cushion Concert we'll discover our magic hands, and use them to conjure sounds! There will be plenty of singing, clapping, dancing, and maybe even some conducting...

Bring along a cushion, and don't forget to bring your ears!

Cushion Concerts are offered for free to all families. If you are able to consider making a donation then this will be gratefully appreciated, and will help us to keep these events free in future.

Approx. running time 30 - 40 minutes

Please do let us know if your plans change and you are no longer able to attend - we do place a cap on attendance numbers, and we expect to have a waiting list.

Cushion Concerts are presented in partnership with Cork City Council and supported by the Ireland Funds. The Irish Baroque Orchestra receives principal funding from Arts Council Ireland.
