Four amazing acts open this years Guinness Cork Jazz Festival at Live At St. Luke's

Mirrors

Mirrors are a melancholic rock band from Cork, blending raw energy with Irish anxieties through bold compelling music. Drawing inspiration from The Cranberries, Mazzy Star and Just Mustard, their sound fuses Celtic Rock with melancholic, shoegaze-laced textures.

Selling out venues across Ireland and the Uk, their Ep 'Envious of the Faithful' has earned praise from Hot Press and established them as a rising force in the scene. Described as the 'Future of Rock music' by Atomic Vox Magazine, Mirrors are a hidden gem worth discovering.

Fronted by singer and guitarist Jodie Lyne, the lineup features Joe Kelly (guitar), Fionán O’Riordan (drums), Fionnán Sheehan (lead guitar), and Catriona Murphy (bass). Mirrors has built a reputation for their emotive performances, introspective songwriting and for their high energy live shows.

Tyra-Lee Spry

Tyra-Lee Spry is an Irish pop artist bringing sharp songwriting, big energy and an unbelievable presence to the stage. Originally from Johannesburg South Africra, Tyra-Lee has carved out her own sound somewhere between punchy pop and ballad bangers, pairing honest lyrics with music you can still dance to.

With a growing catalogue of original music and live shows across Ireland, she’s quickly becoming a name to watch in the Irish independent scene. From opening for Lyra to playing Electric Picnic, Tyra-Lee is building a reputation for live performances that are loud, unapologetic and impossible to stand still through.

Ezra Williams

Ezra Williams is a songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer. Theirmusical influences are Fiona Apple, Florist and Clario. Their impressive careerprogression has been very organic, with thousands of global listeners. Additionally,in late 2023 their debut album ‘Supernumeraries’ was nominated for the RTE ChoiceMusic Prize for Best Album of 2023. Their single ‘My Own Person’ featured in async in the Netflix drama Heartstopper.Their songs are catchy but subtle; self-deprecating but never sombre;always utterly charming. They offer an often overlooked take on emotionalrelationships, as Ezra is writing as a person who is non-binary and onthe autism spectrum, they are currently working on new music for their next album.

Maya Libbey

Maya Libbey is a 23-year-old singer/songwriter who brings a powerful mix of classical, R&B, soul, and pop to the stage.Originally from Canada and Austria, Maya grew up in Luxembourg and is now based in Cork City. She is diving deep into her craft at The Cork School of Music, building a sound that's fresh, dynamic, and rooted in experience.
