About This Event

The Roundy in Cork will host a literary event titled Out of Frame Round 35 on Friday 30th August at 18:00. The session features horror director Damian McCarthy and will be hosted by Catriona Mitchel for free.

Out of Frame, Cork's monthly film talk is back from our little summer break!

And we could not be more more excited about our next guest: Cork horror royalty Damian McCarthy

Damian is one of the most distinctive voices in Irish horror and a significant figure in Cork’s film scene. From his early short films to his acclaimed features Caveat, Oddity and Hokum, his work has helped shape a new generation of Irish horror and local Cork productions.

We are looking forward to watch a selection of Damian's short films. followed by an indepth conversation about his feature work and general influences.

Entry is FREE, we warmly welcome donations to support our events.
