With the release of “ZEUS” in June 2026, Rex Arcum kicks off a new era with his most emotionally charged music yet. This is unapologetic music for those who feel too much, think too much, and never quite fit where they were told to belong.

Alt-rock band Other Mother make waves around Ireland, making their debut festival appearance in 2024 at Féile Beag in Thurles, all the way to Swarmfest and The Next Big Thing in Cork, 2026. They have proceeded to fill stages such as Cyprus Avenue, Roisín Dubh, and The Grand Social. Their singles, ‘Inevitable’ and ‘want u 2 want me 2 die’’ have seen airplay by RedFM, XRP Radio, FlirtFM, Raidió na Life and UCC Radio.

Forming in the heart of Cork, Other Mother began their journey together as a 5-piece cover band, but branched out to write their own music inspired by those very songs they had been covering, such as Radiohead, Fiona Apple, and Honey Glaze. The band fill their Alt-Rock sound out with the addition of synths, adding electronic elements to the guitar-dominated genre. Having joined bands such as BABYRAT, RIARUA, Martina and the Moons, For Nina and Dogswim on stage throughout their journey, they’ve refined their genre, self-describing as “Bubblegrunge,” a genre of feminine rage and dance-rock. A dedicated fanbase keep close watch of their social media, garnering nearly 2000 followers on Instagram, and over 1000 on TikTok. Other Mother have seen success with their merchandising, making handmade shirts printed by the band themselves, that often sell out at their live shows.
