Shadows Calling are a five-piece female-fronted hard rock band from Cork, blending grunge rock and metal influences, all ready to collide.

The Arcadeans are a Cork four-piece guitar-focused blues rock band drawing inspiration from the 60s through to modern day. Influenced by artists including Phil Lynott, Keith Richards, Rory Gallagher and more, The Arcadeans combine guitar-driven rock with original songs built for a live audience. The band have built a loyal following in Cork and beyond, including appearances at Liverpool's IPO Festival at the legendary Cavern Club.

Opening the night is Collinz Music, the solo project of Shane Collins, frontman of Ruined Family Vacation. Bringing his own material and style to the stage, Collinz Music adds another dimension to the evening.

My Place Midleton provides the perfect setting for a rock gig, with a good-sized stage, professional sound and lighting, and the space for bands to deliver their best performances.

This is the second Backline Live event, following our launch night and continuing our focus on creating great live music experiences for artists and audiences.
