About This Event

The UCC Boole Library in Blackpool presents a double bill of experimental music on Wednesday 16 September, featuring Slovenian trio Širom alongside support act Moundabout. Širom, who record for Glitterbeat, build their sound from a combination of custom-built and traditional instruments, crafting a live performance that feels both otherworldly and deeply organic. Their music shifts through evolving textures and rhythms, progressing as though driven by its own internal logic rather than any conventional structure. Opening the evening will be Moundabout, signed to Rocket Recordings, who bring their own brand of heavy, hypnotic sound to the stage. Doors open at 7pm, with tickets priced at £18.50.
