💃 FESTIVE ZOUK & BACHAZOUK WORKSHOPS WITH VANESSA & AMMAR

Explore the connection between Brazilian Zouk and Bachata through two workshops focusing on technique, body mechanics, musicality and partner connection. Together, Vanessa and Ammar will guide you through the technical aspects of movement, helping you understand how biomechanics, body awareness and connection influence the way we dance. Whether you are a leader or follower, these sessions will encourage you to move with greater freedom, confidence and flow, going beyond the steps to discover the mechanics behind the movement.

🔹 ZOUK WORKSHOP

Discover the foundations of Brazilian Zouk while exploring the importance of connection with yourself, your partner and the music. The class will cover hug and soft connection, Brazilian Zouk basics and variations, and how to engage your muscles, frame, hips, and weight transfer to create smoother, more controlled head movements.

🔹 BACHATA ZOUK WORKSHOP

Explore how Zouk techniques can influence and enrich your Bachata dancing. This session will focus on muscle engagement, frame, hip movement and weight transfer for head movements in Bachata. You will also learn pre-movement techniques for transitioning from Bachata into Zouk, explore the trendy Bate Cabelo movement and its variations, and practise different options for transitioning back from Zouk into Bachata.
