Chess Club: Chess Mates at Wolston Library

Chess Mates is a relaxed and friendly space for people to enjoy the timeless game of strategy and meet fellow players. Whether you're a seasoned player or just starting out, come along to meet others, play and socialise.

These sessions are great for:

Practising and developing your chess skills

Meeting fellow enthusiasts in a welcoming environment

Enjoying a calm and focused activity

Discovering what our libraries offer

Why not take a book home after the event? You'll enjoy a great read, and it's a simple way to support your library. Every loan counts.

Booking: This is a drop-in event, so booking is not required. If you do choose to book a ticket, please be aware that it does not guarantee you a space. Participation will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
