**Nuneaton & Hartshill Hayes Country Park, Warwickshire** **Saturday, 5th December** Starting out over the flat but often muddy Weddington fields, before a short ascent up to the ancient woodland of Hartshill Hayes Country park, offering spectacular panoramic views over 4 counties before descending back down to the Coventry canal to meander our way back to Nuneaton. **Additional Notes**: Well behaved dogs welcome, a small section of the walk is through a field of sheep, and potentially cattle. Walking boots are needed due to a potentially very muddy field. There are toilets and a coffee van at the lunch stop. There are no facilities at the meeting place.
