Plant a Spring Bulb at Coleshill Library

Join us during Green Libraries Week (Wednesday 21st October to Wednesday 28th October 2026) as we plant spring bulbs (whilst stocks last) in special wooden planters gifted to the library. Help create a colourful display that will brighten up the library building next spring and provide a welcoming space for everyone to enjoy.

This hands-on community activity is suitable for all ages and is a great opportunity to learn more about gardening, nature, and how small actions can make a positive difference to our local environment. Once planted, the planters will remain outside the library for visitors to watch grow and bloom in the months ahead.

This event is great for:

Getting involved in a community environmental project

Learning about spring bulbs and gardening

Helping create a greener, more welcoming library space

Meeting other local people and nature enthusiasts

Discovering what our libraries offer

Why not take a book home after the event? You'll enjoy a great read, and it's a simple way to support your library. Every loan counts.
