Reading Group for Young People at Rugby Library

Our Reading Group for Teens is a relaxed, welcoming book club with a twist – you don’t all have to read the same book. Open to anyone aged 14–18, it’s ideal whether you’re looking to get back into reading or already love books, offering a space to talk about what you’re reading, share opinions, and pick up recommendations from others. There’s no pressure to attend every session, and each month your reading links to our Teen Book Bingo challenge by choosing a book that fits a different category, such as a book that became a film or TV show, a single‑word title, or a prize‑winning book. Sessions include plenty of discussion about favourite characters and shared themes, alongside a range of fun, book‑related activities.

These sessions are great for:

Talking about books you enjoy and hearing different perspectives

Finding new books, authors and genres to try

Taking part in creative activities inspired by reading

Discovering what our libraries offer

Time: 11:00am-12:00pm

Date: Every first Saturday of the month

Age: 14-18 year olds

Booking: This is a drop-in event, so booking is not required. If you do choose to book a ticket, please be aware that it does not guarantee you a space. Participation will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
