About This Event

The 'Sherbourne River Festival poetry film workshop' is scheduled for 19th September 2026 at the National Trust, Charterhouse in Coventry. Participants can bring their poems to learn how to transform their writing into visual formats. The workshop is free to attend.

Bring your poem and learn approaches to transforming the writing into a more literal format of images.

Adam Steiner is running this unique workshop to help new and experienced writers turn their words into imagery - focussing on ideas and approaches and technicalities.

Please bring a poem with you.

Adam Steiner is a writer, journalist and poetry film-maker. He has written a novel, Politics Of The Asylum, and three books of music criticism on Nine Inch Nails, David Bowie and Nick Cave. He runs a quarterly poetry-film screening Living With Buildings and in 2017 completed the Disappear Here poetry-film project about Coventry Ringroad.
